17000 athletes from around the world will participate in the London Olympics in July-August 2012.

The games will be the most widely televised event ever.

20,000 journalists,reporters and technicians will broadcast the event to billions of sports fans worldwide.

The games will encompass 26 sports from Athletics to Weightlifting.

Some sports will take place in venues in and around London and others will be held in stadiums throughout the UK.

The epicenter of the XXX Olympiad Games will be the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
