Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American clergyman, activist, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He is remembered for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience.

– January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968

Fifty years ago Martin Luther King’s ‘dream’, was of an America no longer divided by race. Many things have changed during this time but black Americans are still experiencing racism, inequality, real poverty and access to jobs and positions of influence.
